If you love that sweet-and-salty combo but want something a little more satisfying, this Chocolate Protein Pretzel Bark is about to become your new freezer staple. It’s crunchy, chocolatey, lightly salty, and made with Kindling Sea Salt Protein Pretzels for a protein boost that makes this treat feel a little more functional and a lot more fun.
This is one of those no-bake recipes that looks impressive, tastes indulgent, and takes less than 10 minutes to throw together. Perfect for post-dinner chocolate cravings, game day snacks, or a high-protein dessert you can keep stashed in the freezer.
Why You’ll Love This Chocolate Protein Pretzel Bark
This high-protein chocolate bark hits every texture note: smooth melted dark chocolate, crunchy protein pretzels, and roasted salted peanuts for extra depth. The Kindling Sea Salt Protein Pretzels add structure and a subtle salty contrast while boosting the overall protein content.
It’s naturally gluten-free (depending on your chocolate and pretzels), freezer-friendly, and endlessly customizable. Plus, because it’s broken into bark pieces, portioning is easy. Grab a square, satisfy the craving, move on with your day.

Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch dish with parchment paper.
- Add the dark chocolate and coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate into the lined dish and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Roughly break the Kindling Sea Salt Protein Pretzels into bite-sized pieces and scatter them evenly over the chocolate along with the roasted peanuts. Gently press everything into the chocolate so it sets securely.
- Sprinkle with flaky salt if desired.
- Freeze for at least 30 minutes, or until completely firm. Remove from the pan and break or cut into bark pieces.
- Store in an airtight container or freezer bag in the freezer for best texture.
Tips, Variations, and Protein Boost Ideas
Want to level this up even more? Try mixing in dried fruit, coconut flakes, a drizzle of nut butter, or a sprinkle of hemp seeds for added healthy fats. You can also swap the peanuts for almonds, crushed cashews, or even toasted coconut for a slightly different flavor profile.
For an extra protein bump, use a high-quality dark chocolate with lower sugar content and pair it with a protein-rich snack plate for a balanced dessert moment.
Whether you’re looking for a healthy chocolate bark recipe, a high-protein freezer dessert, or an easy no-bake treat with protein pretzels, this Chocolate Protein Pretzel Bark checks every box. Keep a batch in your freezer and thank yourself later.
